Self-care as a form of stress management

According to NPR (and a lot of other people), millennials are a bit obsessed with self-care. Self-care is quite trendy and often shows up on Instagram as bubble baths and glasses of wine after work. While those two things can be considered self-care, it is so much more than that.

Self-care is about taking care of ourselves so that we can live our best lives. Self-care is about prioritizing yourself, your well being, and your mental health. In my opinion, self-care has become trendy because people are realizing its importance. It is one of the best ways to deal with stress, and burnout, and allows us to show up as our best selves.

There is an abundance of ways to practice self-care; some are expensive, some are cheap, some are time-consuming, some are quick. If you google self-care, you will find an abundance of articles about the topic. I have written several myself. Below you will find a list of blog posts related to self-care and stress - I have written some, and some are from others. Enjoy!
